THE HEALING PROCESS

The healing process requires patience and commitment, so please do follow all aftercare instructions carefully. Immediately after your treatment you may experience some mild swelling, redness and tenderness, this is normal and can be managed with paracetamol if necessary.

Your new brows will go through several phases. Immediately after the procedure the pigment will appear very bold, as mentioned in the FAQ's section colour loses its intensity by 50% so do not panic if you feel they are too dark. The pigment is sitting on the top layer of your skin and hasn't settled. This will soften gradually.

After a few days the skin starts healing and brows may start to flake and itch. During days 5-10 you may think the colour is fading away far too much but do not worry as this is all part of the healing process, during this time pigment is absorbed in to deeper layers of the skin until later when skin cells start to push colour to the surface layer. Days 14-28 is when the final colour starts to return. After 8 weeks your brows will be fully healed revealing their true colour and shape, and that is when you return for a top up. Here I will fill any gaps or go over brows with a darker pigment if desired.

Once completely healed apply SPF (30-50) daily to avoid fading.
